You all know about Celine Dion quitting her Vegas gig, right? Jason came home the day he heard and feigned disappointment. “I’m so sad today,” he said, and when I looked confused, he continued, “Haven’t you heard?”

He actually had me going for a minute, but he was just laying it on way too thick.

I’m actually stoked that Cher is taking her place! I love Cher! I love her acting, I love her style, I love that she calls her daughter, “my lovely lesbian,” I love that gay men flock to her, I love that she overdoes everything and makes it look flawless, and most of all, I love that she is 62 and taking over Celine Dion’s job! Ha!

Anyway, her show is expected to start at the beginning of May 2008 at the legendary Caesar’s Palace, so if you’re a fan, I would check out getting Cher tickets Las Vegas ASAP. Wouldn’t it be so fantastic to go to Vegas, get drunk, win (or lose, ‘cuz even that’s kind of fun as long as there is a steady flow of free drinks) some money and see Cher? Wow, I just figured out what I want to do for my birthday!

The other day we were driving around and Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” came on the radio. i thought for sure Jason would yell out, “EICH” and change the station. But he kind of started nodding his head to the beat! I swear…things are really starting to change this year. First, I am thinking of buying Uggs and now Jason likes Fergie? “It’s got a good hook!” he whined when I called him on it. Yeah, yeah.

Every Xmas I pull out my Chipmunks record. It’s a must. Did you know there is a song on that record that Molly Ringwald sings? She must be like 12 years old. Anyway, it’s my favorite Xmas music to listen to. That and Elvis’s Xmas, which I can’t find because Squid hid it somewhere.
