Wow, Sunday is Easter already. I haven’t really thought of what I’ll do for the kids, though I did see an Elmo Easter basket at Target. Honestly, I just don’t feel like spending money on a bunch of crap that’s just gonna go right in the shed after Sunday. I think an egg hunt will suffice, don’t you? Ideas?

I did it. Four consecutive days of bootcamp. Tomorrow morning is going to feel like a vacation. Either that, or I’ll just be really bored. I’ve gotten used to getting up and running out the door. And it feels good to have something accomplished so early in the day. Still, I definitely need a break. I was really dragging this morning. Next week I’ll be all renewed and ready to go again. I have a feeling, though, that when this whole thing is over in three more weeks, I’m gonna be sad!

I started out liking Carly on American Idol. But this season is already beginning to drag and no one is really grabbing my attention anymore. I honestly don’t even know the name of most of the contestants. I think it really was a HUGE mistake for them to do Beatles songs two weeks in a row. Boring.

So, today we did a “fit test” at bootcamp. My time for the mile was 11:55. I know it’s not the most impressive time, but I’m just happy I made my goal, which was to do it in under 12. Okay, barely made my goal!

We do it again in week four. Although I really want to be able to run it in 10 minutes, I think that might be too lofty of a goal for just four weeks. I guess I’ll try for 11:30.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

Bootcamp, Day 2.

Wow. A whole new set of muscles is in pain today.

I think I might be laid out completely by the end of the week.

I’m so dead. Bootcamp is awesome. I can’t believe how OUT of shape I really am. You realize when you’re pushed and pushed and pushed without any breaks that you actually don’t kick ass. No matter how hardcore you think you are. I’m so, so, so spent. And the best/worst thing? I’m gonna do it all over again tomorrow morning.
