Why doesn’t anyone write letters anymore? Oh yeah, email.
But don’t you love to receive snail mail? Isn’t it fun finding a hand-written letter in your box, opening the envelope and finding out what’s inside? It’s so much more exciting than having a full Inbox. I don’t write enough letters. I think if you want to get a letter, you gotta first put one out there. Maybe that will be one of my unspoken (besides here) resolutions for this year. Write more letters.
Customizing your letters it awesome. I usually try to do what I can to make my letters stand out, either using stickers or special Mailing Labels. All that stuff is really inexpensive (minus stamps, which are ridiculous), kind of like how checks are so cheap now because no one uses them anymore!
So, I guess before I start my resolution, I should update my address book. It’s really old! The only thing is that when you ask people for their addresses, they get suspicious and then the surprise of an offhand letter is ruined! Hmm…
