Spooky
Just a few days ago, Jason and I were talking about how the recent change in temperature is reminiscent of “earthquake weather.”
Then weird stuff starting happening.
My computer turned itself on from across the room.
Jason’s car alarm started going off for no reason.
The lights flashed.
And then, last night, sitting on the couch watching “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” with Squid, it happened.
The house started to shake. The lights twittered. The floor rolled. I jumped off the couch with Squid in my arms and ran to the entrance of the kitchen, bracing the two of us in the doorway. About 6 seconds later, it stopped.
“There’s no such thing as earthquake weather?” Yeah, right.

My mom swears there is earthquake weather. Plus Bella the cat went absolutely nuts. Poor mom is still a little rattled (no pun intended) by it all. Poor woman and her nerves.

Oh, now that is scary! Did the cats and dogs go nuts?
Glad it was short lived and rather mild. Have a happy halloween!

Oooh, scary! I’ve never been in a place that gets earthquakes, luckily. Glad you guys are okay!

This is the good thing about where I’m at. Tornado weather you can pretty much pinpoint. And if you can’t, god knows the local news stations will be on nonstop with the weather updates.

Glad everyone is alright!
