I get so sick of it too. And yes, totally on the mark! It is amazing how much people forget natural history when they talk about the plight of the world. Hello! Ice Age ring a bell? All those seals breathing didn't cause it all melt. Natural cycles, people. I am always in shock of the amount of waste that goes on in hospitals. And yet, no one would ever think to tell them not to be sterile for the sake of the earth. That would be going backwards for sure, right? Well said, especially about the celebrity smugness going on. Back in the 70's the scientific community thought we were cycling to an damn ICE AGE...let's just agree that the earth goes through many cycles. And please. The earth is so much bigger than we are. I do a lot of things just because it makes sense or it works for me (like cloth diapers) and not to save the world. I am so tired of the hysteria especially since the science is not absolute that have destroyed the world and turned it into an uninhabitable mess. I remember when I was a kid there was a huge hoopla about a hole in the ozone layer. What ever happened with that? We never hear it mentioned in the news any more. As far as reading Wicked goes I have taken a break. I have a huge pile of books that need reading and all I can do is knit. I think I am sick or something because books normally take precedence over all my other hobbies. Amen to that sister!!!
