So Long, Sanjaya!
As much as I wanted to side with Howard Stern and root for Sanjaya to go all the way, I was so relieved to see him leave last night. Seriously, what was Tuesday’s performance all about? I mean, I knew he was bad, I just didn’t know he was THAT bad. So, was saying farewell a scam on the part of the producers? After all, he had Stern, Vote For The Worst, Sanjaya War Dialer, lots of weird young girls and God knows who else on his side. My guess…who cares!? He’s gone…REJOICE!

MY daughter and me literally jumped up out of our chairs and whooped and hurrahed around the house doing high fives and yelling “whoop der it is!” Serious celebration.

I don’t remember him from the auditions or hollywood week–he must have had some talent.
I guess my point is, I wonder if he was singing poorly on purpose for some odd reason? Yes, good riddance.

I just can’t believe he even got to the top 12! What were they thinking. I am so glad he is gone now, although the it does kill some of the WTF effect for this season!
