Would you look at this? I mean, seriously!
Squid’s first real day at the playground. I took him when he was only a few months old, but of course he just stayed in his stroller and slept. Now he can actually swing!
And slide! Or, at least stand at the edge of it!
And crawl in the grass!
And climb! Well, not quite…
Whatever he does, he looks cute doing it!
The other day while I was shopping in Mommy Mecca…you know, Target…an older lady stopped me and looked upon me and Squid. “You’re lucky,” she said and smiled.
Damn straight.

those are gorgeous! I especially love the last shot of him. How amazingly wonderful that comment was, also. I’d carry that around in my heart forever, always knowing it, but pulling it out to dust it off and remember when there are moments you forget.
I’m thinking of my weird things to do my assignment, too! I think i surpress my weird things so as not to dwell on my behavior!
