Countdown

Five more days…

The annoyance of the holidays is wearing off and I am now beginning to feel excited about Christmas. I’ll probably spend a good part of the day tomorrow wrapping gifts, a skill I have yet to master. Although I still have a million and one things to do before the big day, I sense that giddy feeling balling up inside. And, hello! Five days is like an eternity, right??!?! ;-) (I think I’ll file this post under “Naiveté“…)

Finished yesterday, and my biggest annoyance has been getting the freakin’ “Scotch” tape to stick to that shiny wrapping paper and look decent - - almost as difficult as coming up with another term to replace that overused “freakin’.” That’s my challenge to all for the New Year: Replace it or remove it. It’s getting as stale as I am.

I am feeling the pinch…I need to get wrapping too! I’ll probably put it all off until the 24th…:)

i so get your attitude - i just can’t get worked up about the impendingosity of christmas - oh and the little fact that we’re going skiing straight after (or maybe paddling - snow reports aren’t so good) see you on the other side and we can compare battle scars!
